Askari Housing Society () is a residential community located in the south-eastern part of Lahore, Pakistan. The community, much like Defence Housing Authority, Lahore, was primarily meant for retired personnel of Pakistan Army. Initially only 1 sector was announced. As of June 2013, almost 11 more sectors have been announced where the first 10 sectors are fully developed while the work is underway in the 11th sector. It was one of the first gated communities of Lahore which introduced the concept of one entry and exit points. Because of advanced security measures, all sectors of Askari offer complete security with little or no crimes. According to a recently published report of Zameen.com, a real estate portal of Pakistan, Askari is one of the most secure housing societies in Lahore, Pakistan.〔(Askari Housing Society Offers Complete Security, reports Zameen.com )〕 ==Community Features== Askari I, which was one of the initial sectors of the community, did not offer many amenities. The later sectors however offer much better living standard.
